A two-man team from Berlin is aiming to empower coffee farmers around the world by helping them trade the good stuff – that’s green raw coffee beans – to consumers directly. Obviously, they also built a machine so the latter can actually brew some good stuff from the raw beans. Now, after 135 prototypes, Bonaverde is apparently the first coffee machine in the world that lets people roast their own coffee.
The team have launched an appeal for funds on Indiegogo, so if you want to get your hands on one of these machines so you can serve up your own brew starting from the raw beans, you know what to do. Now this is DIY to the max.
