Fish-Men, Insect-Men and more: Strange hybrid illustrations by Lucian Rudaux

Whoah, trippy. In the 30s, French artist and astronomer (yes, what a combination) Lucian Rudaux did a bunch of illustrations featuring humans with animal-like attributes for a series written by his pal Professor Rene Thevenin. The Fish-Men are especially terrifyingly bizarre, while, funnily, the Insect-Men, with six human limbs climbing mountains, we don’t know, just seem a bit daft.
