The paper cup sleeve series by Ahmed Al Emairi

Bored at Starbucks? Corporate banker Ahmed Al Emairi has an idea for you – Starbucksism. Known as the Paper Cup Sleeves series, Al Emairi developed a very quirky and artistic way of turning those coffee cup sleeves into modern art, with just a pen and loads of creativity.

Posting each new sketch to his Instagram account, Ahmed has gained a lot of attention for his simple yet stylistic character drawings, transforming ‘Lady Starbucks’ into everyone from Jack Sparrow and Darth Vader to Michael Jackson and Steve Jobs. Now, if only Starbucks would come out with their own collection of gnarly-dressed Lady Starbucks coffee cup sleeves.
