Cute series imagines Spider-man and Venom when they were childhood buddies

Oh, childhood. Those were the days when mortal enemies were the best of friends. When We Were Kids, is a series by Turkey-based artist Riza Turker wherein he imagines the childhoods of famous superheroes and anime characters. One of his most consistent work in the series is that of Spider-Man and Venom.

We know what they end up like as grown-ups, but in their childhood, they were best buds who did everything together. From going to the amusement park, to stealing cookies from the cookie jar, to courting Mary Jane, these two were inseparable like Calvin and Hobbes.

What’s that sound? Is that the sound of your heart breaking?
