Incredible photos of surfing in Iceland

If you think surfing is hard, try surfing in the icy waters of Iceland – which is what adventure photographer and artist Chris Burkard just did. In his project with Goal Zero, Burkard tries to find the perfect wave, not in the sunny beaches of Hawaii or California, but in the pneumonia-inducing beaches of Iceland. He roams around the countryside taking photos of Iceland’s unspoiled beauty and breath-taking scenery. Amazing how one man’s passion for the ocean can take him to even be swimming in a beach alongside massive slabs of ice.
