It appears that in Victorian times, it was all the rage for mommies to take their babies to the photo studio so their little ones could have their portraits taken professionally. Which meant that the doting moms had to disguise themselves as part of the backdrop as they held their kids tight for the camera. Still, we can’t help but get the creeps looking at these draped grim reaper-like forms holding up the kiddos…
