Republic of the Moon opens in London’s Southbank

London’s Southbank is about to go outer space! Bargehouse is about to be transformed into an ‘Earth-based embassy for a Republic of the Moon’ where artists will ‘re-examine the relationship we as earthlings have with out planet’s only natural satellite’.

The exhibition will feature performances, workshops, music, talks, and ‘playful protests against lunar exploration’. This amazing event is being put on by The Arts Catalyst, an organization that commissions art ‘that experimentally and critically engages with science’ while sparking conversation across the globe.
