In Finland, you can pay for bus rides with gingerbread cookies

How epic is this? In keeping with the Christmas season, Finnish bus company Matkahuolto recently decided it would accept payment from passengers for one-way bus trips with gingerbread cookies. Just two conditions, though: these cookies had to be edible (duh), as well as show both origins and destinations of the journeys. Sadly, though, the initiative didn’t last for long with the free ‘cookie tickets’ running out quickly. Still, if that is not a neat idea, we don’t know what is.
