New music and poetry by Brighton’s Session Leopard
Joss Albért is a composer and writer from Brighton who creates electronic art-pop under the name Session Leopard. Recently he published Naive Devices, his first collection of poetry where his tiny, loaded thoughts hide in poems about feeling human, unrequited love and more profane subjects, such as House music.
Unlike others who simply pick a collection of songs that inspired them, Albért additionally produced an accompanying soundtrack with his readings set to music and sound design providing a new dimension to his reflections. His writing is concise, lucid, simple and introspective. Combined with his relaxing music, the entire package invites the listener to join his dreams.
