Redditor Spongi, or Brian from Ohio, found a useful purpose for his long and shaggy beard when he found a duck egg mixed in with a bunch of chicken eggs. He turned it into a beard nest. With the cute little duckling not having mom to keep him/her (he hasn’t determined the gender yet) warm under her wing, Brian took it upon himself to be mother-duck.

Instead of a wing, he used his beard to keep Peep, the duck’s name, warm and cozy. He had to use a towel to keep Peep from going all #2 on him, but eventually, duck dun on beard was inevitable. Peeps is now a bit older and is expecting friends as Brian is incubating three more duck eggs.
