What sorcery is this? A giant drop of water that illuminates? Actually, just a cleverly designed LED lightbulb by Japanese firm Torafu Architects. Water Balloon is an LED lamp that looks like a bulb filled with water. Helping create the illusion are the small, differently-sized air bubbles and the droplet shape of the bulb. The LED is located at its crown, where it lights up the different bubble-like spheres, making it look liquid.

Torafu Architects created the lamps for the 9lass exhibition early last year.
