A photo series dedicated to discarded Christmas trees

For those of us who celebrated Christmas with a real tree, you’ll know the pain of removing it from the house and discarding it. Hungarian photographer Gergo Gosztom managed to ‘make the sad sights a little more poignant’ this year with his After Christmas photo series that shows discarded and forgotten Christmas trees left out in the cold, but still decorated and lit up with lights. From dazzling trees set upon rubbish skips to beautiful trees left under a snowy overpass, this is an incredible photo series that shows just ‘how quickly we throw away these seasonal decorations’ and move onto the next celebration.
