Young Kiwi couple recreates movie scenes using cardboard boxes

Moving to another country is one of the biggest life transitions you can ever make. It’s a very frustrating experience to say the least. Young Kiwi couple, Leon and Lilly Mackie, accumulated a lot of cardboard boxes after moving from New Zealand to Sydney and having a baby. With their social lives drastically altered, they decided to find a way to make some of those housebound weekends a little more fun.

Cardboard Box Office is a blog dedicated to their homemade creations of some of their favourite movie scenes, from Stars Wars to Jaws, built from some of their domestic junk. The costumes, props, and sets are created entirely out of everyday household items, toys, cardboard, and three individuals slowly losing their sanity. Check out their blog for more photos.
