Remembering the passion-filled works of artist Zina Nicole Lahr

They say that death comes in threes. So for the past week, we wept and mourned for the passing of actor Paul Walker and anti-apartheid leader Nelson Mandela. Who’s the third? Watch this video about a little-known artist with a zest and enthusiasm for life, and you’ll know.

Zina Nicole Lahr was an artist, creator, fabricator, and just an overall talented inventor. The following video she made with friend, Stormy Pyeatte, was for her portfolio and was made a few weeks before her untimely death in a hiking accident last November 20th in Colorado.

The video gives us a glimpse of how living a life filled with passion and purpose can create so many beautiful and inspiring things. Lahr’s personality and outlook in life is something to look up to and serves as inspiration for all of us. It’s saddening for a creative spirit like hers to leave so soon. Carpe Diem, guys, Carpe Diem.
