Furniture that confusingly look like scribbles

Rough Sketch Products is the senior thesis of Tokyo University of the Arts student, Daigo Fukawa. It involves furniture that you might mistake for scribbles on a wall, especially when set against a white background. The pieces are made out of arranged wire that mimic the rough and disorganized forms of scribbles. Taking a step back and looking at the people sitting on the furniture really looks like they are interacting with a drawing.

How I’d love to have one of these furniture pieces so when I have some guest over, they’ll be like: “Where do we sit? And why are your walls so dirty?” Ha-ha! Furniture joke on you!
