The Domino Project is a new film initiative by Dan Saunders, creative director at Sapient Nitro U.K. and his colleague Paul Surety. The aim of this project is “to create a globally connected experience by making 28 short films by 28 writer/directors and/or writer/director teams, each representing one domino in a full set.” The rules are simple: if you’re given a 4 + 1 domino, you must create a film with a group of four people plus one single person, and so on and so forth. The only other rule is that the domino must appear at some point in the film. At this point in time, film is at its peak of creative and connective potential. If you’re a filmmaker interested in this concept, visit their website and submit a script of your own.
