Awkward makeovers for cancer patients make them LOL

French non-profit Mimi Foundation and Leo Burnett have joined forces to produce a very uplifting and hilarious photo series titled ‘If Only For A Second.’ Inspired by a cancer patient’s statement that ‘before cancer, she used to be much more carefree,’ this collaboration shows ‘if only for a second,’ a laugh, a look of joy and a moment when they are able to forget the disease they are suffering from.

The makeovers took place in Brussels in June and a book has been made of the makeover participants’ reactions—all very, very funny and an inspiration to us all.
