You better not cry, better not pout, Krampus is coming to town

Keeping Central European alpine folklore alive, the Krampus is coming to town! Since the 17th century, Krampus has traditionally accompanied St. Nicholas and angels on the evening of December 5 to visit households to reward children that have been good. The ones who have not get a very special visit from the Krampus, a demon-like creature with rusty chains and bells. Take a look at the pictures from a Krampus fest in Austria. These kids are getting right into the spirit of the holidays, and not a single tear or look of terror in sight!
