You’re a cheese specialized store. You need to stand out. You need to get your name out there. How do you do it? With a business card. But no ordinary business card. You employ the help of JWT, a leading advertising agency in Brazil, and you come up with—what else—the grater card.

This card is the same size as any other business card and was made for Bon Vivant, with a light metal grater design. Soon enough customers were coming into Bon Vivant stores to ask for the special business card: ‘People came here, chose the cheese, paid, and then asked for the card. Many became customers after that. We had to set a minimum spent amount for the cards not to be over within 2, 3 days,” says Beto Rogoski, one of Bon Vivant’s owners. Now this is definitely some out-of-the-box thinking.
