Brooklynite Richard Silver has one of the coolest jobs around: traveling the world taking stunning photos of religious architecture. Giving up his job as a stockbroker, Silver has traveled to places that include Mexico City, Budapest, Krakow, Cape Town, and Goa in his search for the coolest photos.

It takes between six and 10 photographs to complete each work, which he “expertly blends together in his studio using Photoshop.” Richard Silver says his favorite place to photograph was the Serbian Orthodox church in New York, where he was able to photograph in a private session, thanks to the friar.
