Beneath the ground exists a world that no one would dare wonder into. It’s a place of darkness, abandon, and isolation. San Francisco’s Bold Italic visited the underground caverns of their city and here are the photos.

Some are viaducts and others are service tunnels. It also serves as a reminder that dim places like this serve as homes to some people and animals. They were lucky they didn’t find San Francisco version of Pennywise down there.
