The only thing we can rely on is movement. Life changes. Parents grow old. People move on. And the world keeps spinning. With that being said, perhaps Kinetic art is the truest form of art around. As in the case of artist Nemo Gould, some artists just can’t stop making Kinetic sculptures.

The California resident gathers used scrap and salvaged materials from the dump and breathes fresh life into them. Gould is recognized as one of the few Bay Area artists with official privileges to collect any objects he finds at San Francisco Recycling and Disposal. After choosing his objects, he combines them with sound, light, and motion to create his whimsical robot friends.
