British Airways billboard points to airplanes in real time

Well, this is pretty cool! British Airways has unveiled a new billboard in London’s Piccadilly Circus that follows the path of a young boy’s finger as he points at an actual plane in the sky! Using ‘custom-built surveillance technology’, this is the first advertisement of its kind for the airline and UK advertising.

The campaign is called ‘Look Up’ for obvious reasons, and if you take a look at the video, you’ll see how it all works. Flight BA475 from Barcelona is featured in the video below.
