The Sydney Museum of Words’ first exhibition is on now

Taking ‘words out of their normal context’, the Sydney Museum of Words is holding their first exhibition this month and you’re invited. This Grammar Nerd’s dream brings words together by mounting them around the rooms of a museum gallery and setting up an audio tour, where each word’s etymology, along with its significance to Australia, is explained.

The exhibition is running for two weeks and the public are even invited to nominate a word for the museum via their website, but you’ll have to be able to explain why it deserves to be “immortalized” in a museum.
