These photos by Martin Klimas are absolutely mesmerizing. Designed to visually embody the sound of music, Klimas’s splatter paint ‘sculptures’ are just as fleeting and energetic as the audio media they resemble. The paint is thrown into the air using the natural force of a speaker as the volume is turned up. Tunes from the likes of Karlheinz Stockhausen, Miles Davis and Kraftwerk were used to send the paint aloft. These are just some of the best of the 1,000 images taken during the process.
