Possibly the deadliest swing in the world

Remember when you were a kid and as you sat on a swing set, you’d tell your friend to push you so you could go higher? And then it got kinda scary when you eventually did reach a high elevation? Oh, you haven’t seen nothing yet. In Baños, Ecuador at La Casa del Árbol, is a swing set that only the bravest of the brave will attempt to ride.

It’s called the Swing at the End of the World – a contraption that will swing you at an elevation of 2,660 meters. Those ballsy enough to take a ride will be rewarded with a stunning view of the surrounding landscape, including that of Tungurahua Volcano. There are no “seatbelts” or any safety devices whatsoever. There’s only you, the not-so-sturdy-looking swing, and your manliness.
