In a Thomas Kinkade painting far, far away… Ok, not really. There just might be a copy of his painting in your living room. The self-proclaimed Master of Light, Thomas Kinkade mass-marketed his art such that one in every twenty homes in America has a copy of his work.

He may have been a hit with the masses, but he wasn’t popular with the art world; the latter describing his art as ‘little more than commercially successful kitsch’. The Galactic Empire might also have the same taste in art as they have invaded Kinkade’s paintings in a series called Wars on Kinkade by artist Jeff Bennett.
