Severed human hands for dinner: a joke in poor taste

Looks like Norway went all out for Halloween this year. And the Europris grocery store in Norway took things a little too far. Shortly after they began selling fake severed human hands in the meat aisle, customers (specifically, mother’s of young children) began to complain that the product was “creepy”.

The store pulled the fake severed hands as well as the other more gruesome products off the shelves after further complaints rolled in.

What do you think? Are the hands good Halloween fun or an unfortunate joke made in poor taste? I’m not much for processed meat products, but I appreciate the Halloween enthusiasm.
