These aren’t just any ordinary vintage black and white snapshots, these are snapshots from Ernest Hemingway’s childhood. These images surfaced when a collector bought Hemingway’s 1932 Royal Model T typewriter and found some negatives and photos underneath the typewriter body. These, according to Hemingway scholar Sandra Spanier, were likely to be taken at the Hemingway family’s cottage on Walloon Lake in Michigan.
