Singapore’s remarkable solar-powered super trees

These didn’t come out of a sci-fi movie. These also are not realistic 3D illustrations. They are real and are located at Gardens by the Bay in Singapore. These Supertrees are solar-powered vertical gardens that stand from 82 ft to 160 ft. These 18 man-made structures also act as air venting ducts and rainwater collectors for the conservatories below.

They are part of Singapore’s initiative to promote the nation-city as an eco-tourist destination where people can see sustainable practices and flora and fauna from foreign lands.
