AdvertisementWe’re big admirers of the photographic work of National Geographic’s Jason Edwards, who has captured the unique life and environment of Antarctica in this stunning series of photos.

Based in Melbourne, Edwards has been recognised globally for his contributions to science, the environment and the arts – not surprising given he has an Honours degree in the Bachelor of Applied Science in Scientific Photography.

Having travelled and photographed extensively in areas such as the Himalaya, Africa, and the Middle East, Edwards will be taking one lucky person on a trip of a lifetime to Antarctica to help raise awareness of the essential research projects being supported on the ice by Antarctica New Zealand.

If you’re the chosen one, you’ll experience an unforgettable adventure on the ice, following Jason Edwards and observing the work of the legendary Kiwi research teams. But for now, just take in the view courtesy of these stunning photographs.
