Remember the days when video games characters and their surroundings looked like LEGO blocks? That tells us two things: 1. Your age and how old you’re getting 2. Gaming technology has truly come a long way. The environments and characters we see in current video games are a thing to behold.

The stunning landscapes we see with each new release rivals those of the real world. Dead End Thrills celebrates the passion and talent behind these exciting video games. It started as a Flickr group with over 11,000 images and 500 members, it has expanded into a curated website. The images on their site involved no Photoshop, save for itty bitty tweaks to gamma, and come with full high resolution downloads.
