Old New York City photos superimposed on current ones

Ever gone into an old building and said to yourself, ‘I wonder if anything spectacular happened here’. No? Ok, maybe that’s just me then. But Marc Hermann, a professional news photographer, has created a Now & Then series of different places in New York. He has superimposed old photos from the Daily News Photo Archive onto present day photos. The result is a 15-picture-series that gives us a glimpse of the city’s rich history and past events.
