Museum of Stolen Art in Nepal opening in 2015

This new museum will display countless pieces of of national history and beautiful art that Nepal has lost over the decades. How is that possible? The museum cannot literally bring back every piece that has left the country, but through the efforts of 14 artists the museum will display replicas instead.

Designed to remind Nepali people of their lost culture, the Rabindra Puri’s Museum of Stolen Art is reported to be ready to open in 2015.
