Apparently a lot of people around the world are ready to say goodbye to earth forever and brave the long voyage to Mars. Over 100,000 people have volunteered to take the one-way trip. 40 civilians will be selected by the privately owned, Dutch-based Mars One project to begin training and only 4 will actually take the trip to the red planet. If you sign up now, just know that you won’t touch down until 2022. It’s sort of a long-term investment.
