These incredible installations are built every year when thousands of people head to the Burning Man Festival. The large-scale pieces are based on a theme chosen by the festival organizers and are then sent up in flames at the end of it all.

Housed every summer in Nevada’s Black Rock Desert, the festival participants band together to create Black Rock City. During the week long celebration in the make-shift community, the residence share stunning art and music performances that are unlike anything else going on in the dessert.
