Bizarre underwater creatures

I had no idea sea creatures had a census of their own, but apparently the underwater community needs to be counted, too. The last census took place back in 2010 and required the help of more than 2,700 scientists from all around the world. After spending 9,000 days under the ocean and taking 540 expeditions, the fascinating results came in. Several bizarre and unusual creatures were uncovered. Here are just a few of the highlights.

Dragonfish
Hydrothermal Vent Snail
Mollusk
Octopod
Polychaete Worm
Tube Dwelling Anemone
