Russell Brand kicked out of GQ awards for mentioning Hugo Boss made Nazi uniforms

You might not be Russell Brands‘ biggest fan, but this video will definitely give you an appreciation for his witty truth-telling. While speaking at GQ’s Man of the Year Awards, Brand made a joke about how Hugo Boss, one of the event’s sponsors, earned a hefty profit from selling uniforms to Nazis during WWII. [watch his awesome speech below]

The joke was actually quite the zinger, unless, of course, you’re Hugo Boss. Shortly after his uniform comment, Brand was escorted out of the event by the GQ magazine editor. In the process of kicking Brand out, the editor said, ‘What you did was very offensive to Hugo Boss’. Brand accurately replied, ‘What Hugo Boss did was very offensive to the Jews.’ Well, there you have it.
