According to Rolling Stone, Miami is the next Atlantis. Within the coming century, America’s playground will sink beneath the ocean and be consumed by chaos. As the story goes, the next big hurricane will completely wipe out the city, leaving the city bankrupt, desolate, and strewn with empty cars caught in the flood as their occupants attempted to escape to Orlando.

Though only a fiction piece, this article by Jeff Goodell is scarily possible. After everything that happened with the aftermath of Katrina in 2005, we’re far too familiar with the true power of such a natural disaster.
