In Amy Casey’s imaginative world, cities are creatures, constantly shifting and growing. Inspired by the post-industrial landscape of Cleveland, which is beset by decay and vacancy, she has made it her task as an artist to imagine a new empire that will rise out of the rubble. Her paintings combine nature and cities in amazing detail.

I strongly encourage you to look through her older paintings, as her world has improved over the years. It used to be on brink of collapse.
