Roadkill shadow art by Tim Noble and Sue Webster

We’re pretty big fans of shadow art. We also appreciate artists who create beauty from unexpected materials. This amazing sculpture by Tim Noble and Sue Webster is made from 34 taxidermy animals (6 rats, 1 mink, 8 carrion crows, 8 rooks, 11 jackdaws, to be exact).

When light hits the gruesome sculpture, it casts a shadow of two heads; a crow is even pecking out an eyeball. The attention to detail in this piece is almost incomprehensible.
