Mezmerizing video of soy sauce psychedelia

Ruslan Khasanov was busy making wok for dinner when he fell down a rabbit hole of psychedelic art. Blame it on the soy sauce that fell into his oil while cooking. The stuff would form dark beads and refuse to mix with oil.

Five hours later, Khasanov had added a rainbow of inks to create stunning imagery that looks as if it was discovered with an electron microscope. The resulting footage was edited and released as Pacific Light. It’s probably the most stunning video I’ve seen all year.
