Unbalance hotel: sleep in a giant titling picture frame

Are you OCD about having all your picture frames hanging evenly? Then you might not want to spend the night in the new Unbalance Hotel. Planned to be built into the side of a cliff just outside the city center of Lima, Peru, this mind-blowing hotel will resemble a giant, unbalanced picture frame. It will literally frame a view of the city.

Thanks to the unconventionally creative minds of the Spanish architect firm OOIIO, Lima will have a brand new landmark. That’s the plan anyway. We’ll see how the idea pans out in real life over the next few years. Will the public find the design too unsettling? Only time will tell.
