The easiest way to describe the work of the art collective Los Carpinteros is ‘deform to form in order to perform’. Sometimes you have to disassemble your projects and objects into their individual components to see what they’re really made of.

After having established that, it’s way easier to enhance the deformed project/object and to create something new, more advanced. And in this case advanced is defined by Los Carpinteros and how they want their chosen objects to evolve and change.

This group of dedicated lovers of high-quality manufactured products started in 1991 and until today they’ve had many exhibitions all over the globe, wowing people with their conceptual ideas and craftsmanship skills.
