Oliver Weber’s photography series Social Life at Beach looks at the tourist invasion of the Canary Islands of Spain, where Weber lives. Each year as temperatures rise, thousands of middle-class from Germany, Russia, and England take over the islands, and bring with them the tourist clichés that can’t be avoided.

The result of Weber’s snapshot of tourist life is a compelling look at the unashamed, the unabashed, the often bizarre, and sometimes sad. ‘Social Life at Beach‘ is currently showing in Munich, and will be shown in Stuttgart from September 5 to September 8.
