Ronald Ventura’s work is layered with different emotions, media, art styles, and cultures. With a range of anything from graffiti to hyper-realism, the Philippine-based painter and sculpture has learned to effectively speak many visual languages. I love the raw, emotional feel of his pieces. It’s as if Ventura welcomes his audience into the deep interior of his mind to watch joy, pain, anger, and loneliness play out on stage.
