Katya Grokhovsky is an artist who works across many fields, including performance, video, installation, photography, sculpture, drawing and painting. I’ve known this artist since she moved to New York City, and has since been all over the map. With her performances and paintings mostly based around her being a woman, my favourite piece was when Grokhovsky went around the gallery asking strangers for their hand in marriage … and maybe some love.
