Magic floating umbrellas brighten up the commute in Portugal

No matter how stressful the commute might be, during the month of July this summer, it’s hard not crack a smile with all these lovely umbrellas floating above the streets. The army of rainbow umbrellas provided both shade and a little bit of whimsy for pedestrians in Águeda, Portugal.

The concept is simple enough; we’re talking ordinary umbrellas hung from strings attached to promenades overlooking the streets. But the overall effect is magical. And guess what? Shutterstock is already trying to make a pretty penny of the event.
