Candy and sugary treats, coded by their colours

Austin-based Emily Blincoe loves making portraits — and it shows, even when it comes to portraits of inanimate things like candy. Her Sugar Series has her amassing a staggering amount of sugary treats, then grouping them according to the colour of their packaging: pink, red, orange, yellow, green, blue, purple, black, gold, white… who would have thought sugar could take on so many hues?
