I hate using clichés, but the phrase ‘from another planet’ certainly applies to the work of artist Heather McGill. Her unworldly creations are all but totally detached from any given time or place. And, having been close enough to touch her sculptures, I can attest to how pristine and flawless they really are. In fact, it’s actually hard to believe that they did not come from someplace else.
